Patch Radar

Terms of Use

Last updated September 15, 2026

Patch Radar (“the app”) is a Reddit Developer Platform app made by the Reddit user u/utilityhouse (“we”). By installing or using the app you also agree to Reddit's User Agreement and Developer Terms, which govern your use of Reddit.

1. What the app does

It posts excerpts of game developers' public Steam announcements to communities whose moderators installed it, and lets community members vote on individual changes.

2. Moderators control it

Moderators choose which games are followed and whether posts are pinned, flaired, or whether duplicate posts are reported. Moderators can remove the app at any time.

3. No affiliation

The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve, Steam, Reddit, or any game developer. Patch notes belong to their authors; the app shows short excerpts and links to the original.

4. No guarantee of accuracy

Buff, nerf and “changed” labels, change history, and follow-up notes are generated by automatic rules and can be wrong. The full announcement on Steam is the authority.

5. Votes

Votes are opinions of community members, shown in that community only. Do not use votes to harass developers or other users.

6. Availability

The app is provided “as is”, free of charge, and may change or stop working at any time, including if Steam or Reddit change their services.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the app.
